Girls, let's get real, we all have a pinterest board filled with our dream engagement ring. Subtly, you tell your best friend or go window shopping with your man. But in full disclosure, your engagement ring may be the single most important jewelry that resembles you. It reveals your personality, your style, your individuality and that's nothing to mess with.
I myself have a particular vision that's drawn from the closest women in my life. Bold yellow gold from my Mum, Oma's woven, intricate details and timeless simplicity from my Grandma. I'm a gold girl and that's evident in the everyday jewelry I wear. Observing everyday jewelry is a great way for your man to pick up on small details and personal taste.
Everyone talks about the Four C's (Cut, Carat, Clarity, Colour) but the Three S's embody personality and uniqueness (Setting, Style, Shape). I like to think of the Three S's as the Bride and the Bridesmaids. Shape catches your eye immediately, like a bride in her wedding dress. Examples include pear shape, princess, square, oval, round, emerald, heart). Setting and style make a the diamond pop, otherwise known as the bridesmaids. They enhance the beauty and carry hidden features to the forefront. I view Styles as vintage, traditional, modern, gold, silver, white gold or platinum. While Setting is how the diamonds are displayed, such as, solitaire, channel set, halo, 3-stone or bezel.
To provide you with inspiration and ideas we've collected pictures of engagement rings from our Brides here at Tres Chic Bridal Boutique. If you could only meet these beautiful Brides you would see how each ring expressed true qualities of each bride. Thank you ladies for sharing your engagement rings with us!
